Witness Tull Show

"Crossfire"

From 1980. Again, Michael performs on a tight stage and pulls it off well. I think this was recorded by our manager Ted.

"Something's on the Move"
Filmed at the McDade House, Michael does this Tull song off the Storm Watch album with great justice.

"Watcher of the Skies"
Filmed at the McDade House, this is part of Witness's Genesis show. A little dark, but that was the nature of the piece, lots of low level lighting effects that don't show up on video :(
Great piece though!

"Anybody's Man"
Taped at the Mcdade House in 80/81. Shaky camera-work, but a good audio track.

"Squonk"
Filmed at the McDade House, this is part of Witness's Genesis show. I chose a clip that had a better audio track, although this song developed into a very theatrical piece later, but that cut has bad audio. Filmed in December 1980

"Hey Kid"

When Michael D was in the band, solos usually included flute work, which was really a nice touch!

"My Present"
Original work, written and arranged by Witness. Love the interaction between the Disston brothers on this one! Camerawork was more than a little shaky. This was filmed on an off night at the McDade House in PA. (12-10-1980)

Witness Joel Show

Billy does "Scenes from an Italian Restaurant." Filmed at the McDade house in 1980, despite the low quality camera , Billy Spence fans will remember this as one of his better performances.

Witness Tull Show
YouTube Video
Taped on an off night in a smaller club in 1981, this is a more obscure cut of the show. "Heavy Horses"
"Dark Ages"
Pay close attention to the flourishes that made the band such a hit. Sorry about the video quality, it was filmed on a 1970's hand held camera

"God Rest Ye Merry Gentlemen" flute solo. Again, sorry about the video quality, it was filmed on a 1970's hand held camera

Watch out RedNex, here comes Steelman's Favorite Song!

"Intro Joke Song"
Used at the end of the night (sometimes) to introduce the members.  Not a serious song, just something recorded  late one night at the McDade House on an off night. The crew and band were having some fun.

"Cocaine"
The solo's are great. Watch for Michael D's face looking over LaBuono's synth during the keyboard solo. Despite what many may think, the hardest "drug" Steelman would carry around was a bottle of "Juci-Juice" in a cooler in the dressing room, which he liked to get as "Cold as it could be" without freezing!
